If your company offers Wellhub as part of a flexible benefits program, you might receive Wellhub Credits to help pay for your plan, based on how you allocate your benefits. Here’s how they work:
Wellhub Credits are funds that come from your company as part of your flexible benefits, based on how you've chosen to allocate those benefits.
If you've directed a portion of your flexible benefit funds to Wellhub, they appear as Wellhub Credits in your app. You can use these credits to pay for part or all of your Wellhub plan subscription, helping you invest in your wellbeing journey with us.
- Automatic Application: Wellhub Credits are automatically applied to your plan cost before any charge is made to your personal payment method.
- Payment Method Still Needed: You'll still need to have a personal payment method on file. This is for any balance not covered by credits, or for future renewals if your credit availability changes. Learn how to manage your payment methods.
- Non-Refundable: Wellhub Credits are non-refundable and can’t be converted to cash or added back to your available credit balance if you cancel or change your plan.
You can view your Wellhub Credits information in the app:
- Log in to the Wellhub app and go to
Profile.
- Select the
gear icon, and then
Account.
- Under Payments, select Flexible benefit. This section will show:
a) Your current credit balance.
b) Details of credits received and payments made with credits.
When you activate or change your Wellhub plan:
- If you have credits, you'll see your available Wellhub Credits balance displayed, often near the plan options and on the summary screen.
- The summary will show how many of your credits will be used for that specific purchase or billing cycle for your plan.
- The credits are automatically applied to reduce the amount charged to your personal payment method for your plan. If your credits cover the full cost, your personal payment method won't be charged for that period (but it's still kept on file).
- If your Wellhub Credits for a period are more than your plan cost, the remaining credits will stay in your balance and can be used for future renewals or Wellhub plans changes.
No. Wellhub Credits provided by a company as a flexible benefit are allocated only to eligible employees of that company. Family Member subscriptions must be paid for using a personal payment method.
Yes. Wellhub Credits can expire, but only if there's no activity on your credit balance for 12 consecutive months. This means that for a full year, no new credits are being added to your balance by your company, and you also don't have an active Wellhub plan that's using any of your available credits.
If both these conditions – no new credits coming in and no credits being used for a plan – continue for 12 months, any remaining Wellhub Credits will expire and cannot be recovered. However, this won't affect your ability to receive new credits in the future if your company decides to allocate them to you again.
💡 We’ll send email notifications to you if your credits are approaching expiration due to this inactivity, and another if they do expire. Keep an eye on your registered email for any such updates.
You and your company define how many Wellhub credits you receive. If the Wellhub Credits amount changes, any Wellhub plan costs not covered by your available credit balance will be charged to your personal payment method on file.
To understand how Wellhub Credits were used for your previous plan payments, check the Billing History in the Wellhub app. Learn how to access billing details.
💡 Remember, the total amount charged to your personal payment method will be the original plan cost minus any Wellhub Credits used for that period.
Canceling your Wellhub subscription doesn’t automatically cancel future Flexible Benefit credit allocation from your company. To stop receiving future credits or change your benefit elections, you must contact your company's HR department or use their flexible benefits platform. Otherwise, you’ll continue to receive credits on your account.
Any Wellhub Credits already allocated to your Wellhub account before you cancel will typically remain available. If you subscribe to a Wellhub plan in the future, these remaining credits will be used to pay for your plan.
