When a plan is paused, the billing date for the membership changes. Wellhub uses a prepaid, recurring payment system. This means payment happens before the benefit is used, and each charge covers the next month of use.
A plan pause extends the usage period by using the days already paid for, postponing the next billing date.
Here's how it works:
If billing normally occurs on the 10th of each month, and the plan is paused for 15 days, the new payment date becomes the 25th. The system adds the paused days to the original date.
