Wellhub challenges are time-limited events in the app designed to boost your motivation and help you build healthy habits, whether you participate individually or alongside coworkers and friends. You compete by earning points through activity during the challenge period.
Challenges are great for:
- Getting an extra boost of motivation for your wellbeing routine.
- Helping you build consistent healthy habits.
- Having some friendly competition with colleagues or friends.
It depends on the challenge:
- Company Challenges: These challenges are created by a specific company's HR team and are only open to its employees. They’re listed automatically in the Challenges section of the app.
- Individual or Friends Challenges: These can be created by any Wellhub member (including family members). You might create one just for yourself, or invite friends, family, and colleagues to join this group challenge using a shared link. You can also be invited to join challenges started by others.
You collect points based on your activity:
-
Steps: You get 1 point for every step tracked via your connected health app (Apple Health or Google Fit).
💡 Step points update in the Wellhub app only when you open the Challenge page. - Check-ins: You get 5,000 points for each Wellhub Check-in you complete (at gyms, studios, with Personal Trainers, or for live classes).
Yes! You can join a challenge even after it has started. Your points (steps and check-ins, if applicable) will be counted retroactively from the official start date of the challenge.
No! Anyone with a Wellhub account can join challenges.
- If you do have an active plan, you earn points from both steps and check-ins.
- If you don't have an active plan, you can still earn points from your steps. Just make sure to connect your health data.
